The suttle taste of paan and gulkand which when mixed with ice cream, khus and soda makes a long lasting flavour. Gulkand and khus are very cooling for summers.

`paan Delight` recipe - How to make `paan Delight`

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 0 to 4 glasses

Ingredients

2 beetel leaves (paan) (paan) chopped roughly
1 tbsp gulkand
1/2 teaspoon elachi powder
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf) powder
2 tbsp khus syrup
200 ml aerated lemon drink like limca
1/4 cup ice (crush)
1/4 cup cold water
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
for the rim

castor sugar

Method
    Method
  1. FOR THE RIM
  2. Apply honey along the rim of a glass. Dip the glass rim gently in a plate containing castor sugar. dust off the excess sugar. Keep aside
  3. Blend betel leaves, gulkand, elachi powder, saunf powder, ΒΌ cup cold water, Strain.
  4. Pour khus syrup in sugar rimmed glasses. Add crush ice and pour betel leaves strained mixture. Carefully put a scoop of ice cream and fill the glass with the aerated lemon drink (limca).
  5. serve immediately
